* Spelling lists of commonly misspelled words/ homophones will be given every Monday (or the first day of the week) so you can study the words all week.

* You will have spelling homework every week, and it will always be due on Wednesday.

* If you are absent Monday, you'll get the makeup work Tuesday and it will still be due on Wednesday.

* If you are here Monday but absent Tuesday, the homework is STILL due on Wednesday.

* You will have a test every Friday (or the last day of the week).

• You are never allowed to type your homework.

* You can add a suffix (-s, -ed, -ing) to a spelling word AS LONG AS IT DOESN’T CHANGE THE SPELLING WORD
For example: BELIEVE
"Believes" is okay to change. "Believing" is NOT because the root word (believe) is missing the “e”.
Also: BERRY
Since you can’t add –s to make it plural, BERRIES is not ok to use.
